Meditation
Placeholder for September 7 meditation … to be updated on October 8, 2021.
In reading today’s Old Testament verses, it’s hard to understand hoe the people could so blatantly worship an idol along side the Lord, even having priests for both. But then I realize we do this too. We go to church on Sunday, do our daily Bible study, pray to the Lord. Yet, in between, we spend time, turn our thoughts, and give money to things in conflict with the Lord’s way. It may be leisure time, TV, video games, a house or boat, a hobby, an addiction, gossip, shopping, the list is endless. If we truly seek to place God 1st, in all aspects of our lives,, the other things will fall into place, or cease to become important.
