Meditation
No updates today. I did not write yesterday, but instead enjoyed a lovely and relaxed birthday. 🙂
Placeholder for September 29 meditation … to be updated as soon as possible.
In Luke 19, Jesus mournes the demise of Jerusalem, because the city did not recognize the Lord’s coming. It is both a lament and a prophecy. Jerusalem, the Jewish people there, did not recognize Jesus as the Messiah. The same is true of the Jewish nation, throughout history. How tragic that God sent the promised Messiah, that they were waiting for, and then they failed to recognize Him when they came. How often do I pray for something, or wait for an opportunity, and then miss it because I’m not open to seeing God answer in a way I wasn’t expecting. God is so much more than my preconceived ideas. Lord, open my heart and eyes to recognize and see You.
