Meditation
I’m a tad bit frustrated.
When I woke up today, I was thinking about the meditation I’m currently working on. I couldn’t wait to get started writing! But there were chores to do, and groceries to get, some financial stuff to take care of…. The next thing I knew, it was almost midnight and I hadn’t even had a proper meal all day. (sigh) Oh, well. The Annie theme song is running through my mind… “There’s always tomorrow….” (In this case, tomorrow means Monday, since I’m still planning to rest on Sunday. I plan to be fresh for my Monday morning interview!)

In reading II Samuel 5& 6, I noticed how explicit the Lord’s instructions were, regarding how to fight the Philistines. Now, we have the Holy Spirit, but then. God spoke directly to David or the prophets, and the people thru them. For us, He uses His Spirit and wants us to have the direction we seek and need..
sometimes it will be a general sense of direction,, but other times,, if we seek Him earnestly, it may be specific directions. We have to have faith that He will give us directions we need, as we need them.
