  • The story of David killing Uriah, in order to marry Bathsheba, clearly shows that we will bear the consequences of our actions. Even though God may forgive us, others may be harmed, as a result of our poor choices. It made no difference to David whose wife Bathsheba was. He only wanted to know, so he knew who to dispose of. His innocent son died, as a result. It’s not fair, but life can be harsh. We need to realize, when we make selfish choices, that others may suffer. In light of the pandemic, this has many applications.
