Today I’m thankful for birds. I love seeing and hearing them. There are so many different kinds, too! Some birds are fearsome predators, while others are cheerful greeters of the morning sun. Some are tiny; some are huge. So much variety! My brother has been taking some gorgeous photos of birds recently; however, my own photos leave a little something to be desired. 🙂

I love Psalm 139:13, the image of God knitting together an unborn baby. It’s not just the tiny fingers and toes, but the intricacies of our bodies – the balance of ph, electrolytes, neurons firing and receptors receiving and responding to impulses, the first heartbeat, blood coursing thru miniscule vessels, carrying oxygen, antibodies being transferred from mother to neonate, yet they can have different blood types. God is truly a Master Creator; inspiring David with plans of the temple would have been a breeze.
