After reading the last chapter of Judges, I think the moral is to be careful what promises you make,, or oaths you take. You may find yourself in trouble, figuring out how to keep them. How sad for the Lord to watch His people slaughter each other and kidnap virgins, to try to get themselves out of a bind they got themselves into. I’d rather dwell on the psalms and think of my Lord, Who rides the winds, defends the poor, and is my Redeemer. Lord, help me make wise choices, not foolish decisions.
