In reading II Kings 8-10, I noticed the common problem of new kings coming in and destroying some of the worship places of idols, but not all of them. And this repetitious pattern persisted thruout centuries. It reminds me, of me, when I think I’m committing myself to the Lord fully, but then find an area I held back. Lord, reveal to me the things, habits, areas I have held back and let me turn them over to you, that I may be a faithful servant, holding nothing back.
