In reading Revelation, I realize how much the Earth will suffer. A third of the earth will burn, not hard to imagine with global warming and wildfires, as those in Australia that devastated koalas. For a third of the oceans to be filled with blood, I imagine huge oil spills, burning and killing sea mammals and creatures. And when the rapture comes people’s pets and livestock will be abandoned; not Christmas joy thoughts. But He came to offer us a 2nd chance at eternal life. Hopefully heaven will include all the creatures from earth.
